I started Newleaf Design back in 2000 when my friend, pianist David Nevue, asked me to design the artwork for his next CD. Since then, I have designed all his CD artwork as well as art for independent musicians and bands across the country.

Newleaf Design is located in the heart of the Pacific Northwest in Battle Ground, Washington. I'm just 30 miles south of Mount Saint Helens and about 20 miles north of Portland, Oregon. By the way, other than political skirmishes at City Hall, no battle was ever fought in Battle Ground. The name comes from a battle that was almost fought here (but thankfully avoided) between the Cowlitz Indians and the US Army in the 1850s.

1. Professional designs that will get you noticed. Getting noticed is one of the hardest jobs you have as an independent musician. My designs for CD packaging and promotional materials will give you the professional edge that will make your work stand out. I have over fifteen years design experience and I have been creating CD art since 2000.

2. Personal service. I'm not some huge graphics mill, I'm a freelance designer and that has its advantages. When you work with Newleaf, you won't be treated like a number. If you have a question, request, or concern you will be able to reach me, the designer, directly. I will never leave you hanging in space wondering what's going on with your project. That's my pledge to you.

3. I know you're not made of money. As an independent artist myself, I know you're probably not swimming in cash. I strive to keep my prices as affordable as possible. I also know you want a great looking design that makes you at least look like you've got money to burn!
