DAVID NEVUE: Overcome (2005) solo piano Matt's notes: You don't always need to take your album shots in a studio. I took the images for "Overcome" in my kitchen because David liked its green walls. "The only thing I really knew going into the art design for this project was that I wanted the 'chair' photo on the cover, and that this album felt 'green' to me in terms of the colors I envisioned. After I talked to him about the music on this project, Matt wanted to give the album design an 'edgier' look than my usual softer, quieter designs. He did exactly that, and I love it." -David Nevue
